Gilbert Ezra Basham 
Gilbert Ezra was born on December 21st, 1896 in Ellison Ridge, Summers Co., W Va.1 Gilbert Ezra's father was Robert Hugh Basham and his mother was Sarah Malinda Hatcher. His paternal grandparents were William Blane Basham and Juliana Lydia Lilly; his maternal grandparents were John Edmund Charles Lewis Hatcher and Eliza Lilly. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named Gracie May, Charles William, George Wesley (Twin), James Herford (Twin), Michael Fenton, Joseph Dale, Luther Bee, Sarah Marie, Bertha Lee, Clara Bell, Nellie Rose, Elizabeth Lillian, Ruby Pearl and Edith Garnet. He was the third oldest of the fifteen children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Roy Lesley and Ada Ethyl. He died at the age of 63 on July 12th, 1960 in Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio.
