George Knox (Bud) Basham 
George Knox (Bud) was born on October 20th, 1897 in Hill Co., Texas.1 George Knox (Bud)'s father was George Jasper Basham and his mother was Emily Belle Watson. His paternal grandparents were James Hogan Basham and Lucillian 'Lucsey' Unknown. He had three brothers and nine sisters, named Finis Ewing, Raymond, Audra, Rosa, Pearl, Lottie Belle, Della Lucy, Mittie May, Hazel, Ruby, Thelma and Jewell. He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named James David and Teresa Ann. He died at the age of 88 on August 2nd, 1986 in Whitney, Hill Co., Texas.1 General Notes
