George B. Basham

George B. was born on March 19th, 1909 in Lake Co., Tennessee.¹   George B.'s father was Herman Basham and his mother was Ora Lee Nettles.  His paternal grandparents were Larkin Wesley Basham and Martha Brown. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Herman Cleo (Red), Edward Watson, Tyron (Twin), Byron (Twin), Floyie and Dessis Laverne.  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 56 on July 7th, 1965 in Union City, Obion Co., Tennessee.¹ 

‌George B. and Lourene were married in a religious ceremony about 1928.¹   They had two sons named George B., Jr. and Jerry D..

‌George B. and Opal Christine were married in a religious ceremony on October 20th, 1934 in Union City, Obion Co., Tennessee.¹   They had five sons and four daughters, named Jerrell Wayne (Twin), Living, Living, Living, Living, Anita Lynn, Living, Living and Living.
