Genie Mckay Basham 
Genie Mckay was born about 1906 in Kentucky.1 Genie Mckay's father was Granville Simpson Basham and his mother was Nevada (Vadia) Raymer. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Wesley (Rev) Basham and Martha (Mary) Jane Williams. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Edna Duane, Clara Burgess, Ruby Maddox, Ambia Irene and Moody Woodrow. He was the oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers named May and Pearl. He died about 1962.1 General Notes
