Floyd Monroe Basham 
Floyd Monroe was born on November 9th, 1892 in Virginia.1 Floyd Monroe's father was James Samuel Basham and his mother was Annie O'Cundley. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Basham and Lucinda Preston. He had five brothers and three sisters, named James Clarence, Charles W., Carey, Mitchell Garfield, Raymond S., Beulah E., Bessie Mae and Lora Dalton. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Benjamin H. and Sallie Lee. He died at the age of 85 on June 29th, 1978.1 General Notes
