Fleming T. was born about 1874 in Virginia.1 Fleming T.'s father was John Floyd Basham and his mother was Martha Smith. His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Basham and Elender (Ellen) Ross. He had two sisters named Sarah C. and Annie M.. He was the oldest of the three children. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Nathan, James W., John Robert, George T., Martha A., Elizabeth Frances and Ellen. He died after 1920.1 General Notes
