Eulace Basham 
Eulace was born on April 2nd, 1893 in Hancock Co., Kentucky.1 Eulace's father was Jeremiah Henderson Basham and his mother was Sarah Ellen Higgs. His paternal grandparents were Cary Jackson 'Jack' Basham and Annis Warner; his maternal grandparents were Alfred Higgs and Sarah Jane Calloway. He had ten brothers and six sisters, named Finous, Harvey, Hilous, Benjamin Harrison (Ben), Eugene C (Gene), Edward Otis, Ruthford, Flora, Chester, Harold, Bertha S., Pearl, Carrie, Essie, Anna Lee and Clara Louise. He was the nineth oldest of the seventeen children. He had a half-sister named Mary Jane. He died at the age of 17 on March 10th, 1911 in Hancock Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
