Erwin (Twin) was born on April 16th, 1888 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Erwin (Twin)'s father was Obediah Peyton Basham and his mother was Maria Frances Watlington. His paternal grandparents were Henry Dowell Basham and Cassandra Hardin. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Earl Wallace, Oral Peyton, Charles Henry (Twin), Ceil Duncan, Ermine (Twin), Nathaniel Reid, Martha Lou (Mattie), Cleona Blanche, Judith Ellen (Nel) and Mary Dowell (Twin) (Dot). He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died at just 1 days old on April 17th, 1888 in Lodiburg, Breckenridge Co., Ky.1 General Notes
