Elbert Dee Basham 
Elbert Dee was born on December 12th, 1877 in Butler Co., Kentucky.1 Elbert Dee's father was Henry Dalton Basham and his mother was Charlotte F. Doolin. His paternal grandparents were Allen Dowell Basham and Malinda DALTON. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named John (Jim) A., James Vandiver, Nancy, Daniel 'Thomas', Robert H., Olliver Franklin, Henry Blain, Lucretia E. and Sallie Jane. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He had two half-sisters named Mary and Meveline. He died at the age of 73 on February 15th, 1951 in Grayson Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
