Edmund Basham 
Edmund was born on September 2nd, 1834 in Virginia.1 Edmund's father was Joel Basham and his mother was Sophia Asbury. His paternal grandparents were David Basham and Suspected First Wife Unknown. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Isaac V., Solomon M., Joel W., Jr., John, William V., Daniel Tucker, George W., Mahala, Nancy Ann (Annie), Armatha, Julina, Mary L. and Sarah Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 80 on July 19th, 1915.1 General Notes
