Dorothy Mae was born on August 23rd, 1923.1 Dorothy Mae's father was William Thomas Basham and her mother was Emily Blanche Mitchell. Her paternal grandparents were Monroe Moses Basham and Martha Jane Williams. She had a brother and four sisters, named William 'Felix', Dana Laverna, Virginia Sue, Living and Living. She died at the age of 50 on December 19th, 1973 in Metter, Candler Co., Georgia.1 General Notes
