Denver D. was born about July 1897 in Ohio Co., Kentucky.1 Denver D.'s father was Ernest Everette Basham and his mother was Lenora (Frankie) Franchette. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Logan Basham and Margaret Ann Eskridge. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Hubert, Ira Vernon, William Glen, Bethel and Ethel. He was the oldest of the six children. He died on April 8th, 1969 in Ohio Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
