David Singleton Basham 
David Singleton was born on April 27th, 1868 in Meade Co., Kentucky.1 David Singleton's father was Godfrey Taylor Basham and his mother was Hannah P. Henry. His paternal grandparents were Frederick Basham and Abigail NORTON. He had a brother and five sisters, named George M., Susan Almeda, Amy Dora, Hattie Lee, Mattie Virgil and Lillian Hannah. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 78 on May 7th, 1946 in Joplin, Jasper Co., Missouri.1 General Notes
