David Hardwick Basham 
David Hardwick was born on January 20th, 1885 in Ohio Co., Kentucky.1 David Hardwick's father was Haskel Abbott (Abirt) Basham and his mother was Mary Ann (Polly) Neal. His paternal grandparents were Manoah Stone Basham and Elizabeth Armes; his maternal grandparents were James Neil and Catherine Basham. He had two brothers named James Walter and Baxter. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Granville Garret, Willie Mack, Francis Paul (Frank), Henry 'Dustin', Rebeckie and Mary Elizabeth. He died at the age of 75 on September 24th, 1960 in Metropolis, Massac Co., Illinois.1 General Notes
