Clemmie Lamira was born on March 15th, 1893 in Ludwig, Johnson Co., Arkansas.1 Clemmie Lamira's father was James Oliver Basham and his mother was Clara Jane King. His paternal grandparents were James Oliver, Sr. Basham and Lemira Jane Shelton. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Walter Newton, King James, Heartsill Alfred, Bertha Minnie, Bessie Mary, Jewelle Oma and Imogene. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 1 on July 10th, 1894 in Ludwig, Johnson Co., Arkansas.1 General Notes
