Clarence W. was born about 1870 in Hancock Co., Kentucky.1 Clarence W.'s father was Elijah Charles Basham and his mother was Frances Ann Gibson. His paternal grandparents were William Harrison Basham and Cynthia Amanda Seeley. He had a brother and a sister, named Scott Roswell and Dorothy. He was the youngest of the three children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Benjamin Robin, Thomas Wesley, Charles Noble, Blanche M. and Unnamed Infant. He died after 1900.1 General Notes
