Clarence Atwood (Cy) was born on December 15th, 1914 in Logansport, Cass Co., Indiana.1 Clarence Atwood (Cy)'s father was William Thomas (Tom) Basham and his mother was Nellie Grant Conrad. His paternal grandparents were Callahill M. (Calvin) Basham and Ludelphia Bethina (Bethyl) Creasy; his maternal grandparents are Unknown Conrad and Wife Unknown. He had three brothers and a sister, named Charles Ralph, Stewart Edward, Milton Thomas and William Leroy (Roy). He was the youngest of the five children.
