Clara Bell Basham 
Clara Bell was born on June 21st, 1884 in Daviess Co., Kentucky.1 Clara Bell's father was James Henry Basham and her mother was Mary O. (Molly) Higgs. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Blades Basham and Sarah Jane Brock; her maternal grandparents were Alfred Higgs and Sarah Jane Calloway. She had four brothers and eight sisters, named Marion Adolphus, Robert Henry, Steven IVa, George Leslie, Ella Mae, Alice, Ida B., Willa Geneva, Lillie Jane, Lilla Mae, Nellie Pearl and Della Sue. She was the second oldest of the thirteen children. She had a half-brother named William Elva. She died at the age of 81 on June 22nd, 1965 in Daviess Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
