Cassius Clay Basham 
Cassius Clay was born on June 15th, 1878 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Cassius Clay's father was George Washington Basham and his mother was Irene Robbins. His paternal grandparents were O. Mitchel Basham and Eliza Unknown. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Bourbon Webster, William Sidney, Jonas, Remus Blaine, Laura A., Georgie Ann and Myra Mae. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died about 1917 in Oklahoma.1 General Notes
