Carrrie Basham 
Carrrie was born on June 20th, 1877 in Virginia.1 Carrrie's father was John Ellis Basham and her mother was Ellen Richards. Her paternal grandparents were Hillory H. Basham and Sarah Ridinger; her maternal grandparents are John Richards and Martha Harris. She had nine brothers and four sisters, named Nathan H., Brainard Hayden, George Kyle, Archie Leonard, Robert Letcher, John Taswell, Doc Roscoe (Peach), Harless, William Hubert, Leona Belle, Florence Elyna, Laura and Allie S.. She was the second oldest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 72 on June 3rd, 1950.1 General Notes
