Carleton Basham

Carleton was born about 1896 in Virginia.¹   Carleton's father was Henry Basham and his mother was Eliza J. Unknown.  His paternal grandparents are Father Tom Unknown and Betty Basham. He had a brother and six sisters, named Thomas, James Porter, Sallie A., William Irvin, Minnie M., Katie E. and Elsie.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.  He died about 1968.¹ 

‌Carleton and Hila Jane were married in a religious ceremony about 1919 in Franklin Co., Virginia.¹   They had a son and a daughter, named Living and Bulah.
