Beulah Elizabeth was born on June 26th, 1838 in Morgan Co., Alabama.1 Beulah Elizabeth's father was James Hogan Basham and her mother was Lucillian 'Lucsey' Unknown. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Basham and Elizabeth Hogan. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Jonathan J. (Jack), Jacob W., George Jasper, Claborn C. J., Aron King, David M., James William Ellen, Mary J., Francis Emily, Martha A. and Lucy Palistine. She was the second oldest of the twelve children. She had a half-brother named James Alexander. She died at the age of 41 on March 19th, 1880 in Morgan Co., Alabama.1 General Notes
