Arthur Payton Basham 
Arthur Payton was born about May 1866 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Arthur Payton's father was Daniel Hardin Basham and his mother was Elizabeth H. Claycomb. His paternal grandparents were Henry Dowell Basham and Cassandra Hardin. He had three brothers and a sister, named Lawrence Lee, Logan Daniel, Claude H. and Clara Hardin. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died on January 9th, 1915 in Owensboro, Daviess Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
