Albert Andrew was born on February 26th, 1882 in Floyd Co., Virginia.1 Albert Andrew's father was James Haden Basham and his mother was Laura Ellen Lawrence. His paternal grandparents were Hillory H. Basham and Sarah Ridinger. He had three brothers named Hersy Grant, Amherst Sheridan and Mary Grace. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 96 on December 8th, 1978 in Lynchburg, Campbell Co., Virginia.1 General Notes
