Albert Alford Basham 
Albert Alford was born on September 13th, 1863 in Fordsville, Ohio Co., Kentucky.1 Albert Alford's father was Eli Houston Basham and his mother was Nancy Melvina Fitzeleanor McCoy. His paternal grandparents were James Herrod Basham and Polly Ann Arms. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named David Houston, James Gideon, Erastus Finley, Ellard Randell, Atticas Inlap, Burnice Festus, Garfield Ollie, Vizella Ellen, Mehitabel Enfield, Charity Marguerite and Opal Effie. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 18 on June 25th, 1882.1 General Notes
