Joseph Alvis Arnold 
Joseph Alvis was born on November 28th, 1914 in North Carolina.1 Joseph Alvis' father was Herbert McCloyd Arnold and his mother was Esther Rae Dennis. His paternal grandparents are Lonnie Arnold and Sarah Spence; his maternal grandparents were James Henderson Dennis and Annie Unknown. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Herbert McCloyd, Jr., Guy Booth, James Franklin, Annie Katherine, Rachel Lenoir, Christine and Eunice Marie. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 80 on December 22nd, 1994 in Angier, Harnett Co., North Carolina.1 General Notes
