Sarah Jane Allen 
Sarah Jane was born on October 18th, 1853 in Claiborne, Louisana.1 Sarah Jane's father was John Birchfield Allen and her mother was Susan Ann Shaver. Her paternal grandparents were John Calhoun Allen and Mary Ann Holcombe. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Willican Cornish, John Calhoun, Mary Ann Elizabeth, Martha Caroline, Cassandra Ann Cassie, Susan Lucinda Adaline and Fannie Idella. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 80 on November 28th, 1933 in Lufkin, Angelina Co..1 General Notes
