Ruby was born on October 7th, 1907 in Austin, Bexar Co., Texas.1 Ruby's father was Peter Benjamin Allen and her mother was Corina Catherine Cole. Her paternal grandparents were Miles Johnson Allen and Nora Weaver. She had a sister named Leola. She was the older of the two children. She died at the age of 9 on June 21st, 1917 in Austin, Texas. She was buried in Allen- Johnston Cementry 4 miles north of Wallis, Austin Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
