Leon William Lewis 
Leon William was born on November 6th, 1892 in Tekamah,NE. Leon William's father was Sigal Aaron Lewis and his mother was Laura Belle Haywood. His paternal grandparents were Ezra Lewis and Susan Stiverson; his maternal grandparents are William N. Haywood and Elizabeth Mairs. He had eight brothers and nine sisters, named Richard, Roy Arthur, Dennis Carl, Wilbur Allen, Donald Francis, Chester Paul, Darrell Deane, Frank Ezra, Edith Hazel, Carrie Elizabeth, Leta Lorene, Helen Mae, Dorothy Belle, Laura Burdette, Ada Marine, Edalyne Bernice and Mildred Margaret. He was the oldest of the eighteen children. He died at the age of 59 on January 28th, 1952.-
