My William Thomas Blackburn, born in March 11, 1726 in Scotland is the brother to the Archibald that you may be referring to. He and Rachel Haynes were born in Ulster Province, Ireland. The had the following children: Daniel Blackburn born November 28, 1752; Elizabeth Blackburn born January 2 1754; William Blackburn born January 9, 1758; John Blackburn born June 30, 1760; James Blackburn born November 26, 1762; Stephen Blackburn born March 29, 1764 and Sarah Blackburn born March 27, 1766.
I an a descendant of John Blackburn thru William Thomas Blackburn, born January 30, 1795, who is my third (3) great-grandfather.
There are two (2) Archibald Blackburn's listed in my family tree thus far. The first was born in 1681 in Scotland and married Margaret Wilson. The second was born in 1729 at William Penn's Manor, Philadelphia County, PA. The second Archibald is the seventh child of the first Archibald and Margaret Wilson and the brother of my William Thomas Blackburn.
