John Blackburn 
John was born on December 25th, 1801 in Bourbon Co.,KY. John's father was William D. Blackburn and his mother was Elizabeth McClanahan. His paternal grandparents were John B. Blackburn and Nancy Maxwell. He had three brothers and four sisters, named James Maxwell, Alexander, William Decatur, Anna, Eliza, Jane and Sarah. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 24 on September 13th, 1826 in Sullivan Co.,IN. He was buried in Watson Cemetery,Anthony and George Strother witnessed will of Wm. 4 Newton,Sullivan.General Notes
