Fernando I The Great was born about 1016 in Burgos, B, Spain.  Fernando I The Great's father was Sancho III Garces The Great King Of Navarre and his mother was Munia Countess of Castile.  His paternal grandparents were Garcia III Sanchez and Chimine Fernandez; his maternal grandparents were Sancho Garcia Count Of Castile and Urraca Of Castile. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Garcia III King Of, Ramiro I St King Of, Ramon Berenguer I Count Of and Urraca Princess Of.  He died on December 27th, 1065 in Leon, Leon, Spain.
