Margaret De was born in 1177 in Abergavenny, Gwent Uwch Coed, Monmouthshire, Wales. Margaret De's father was William III Th Baron De Braose and her mother was Maud Matilda De St Valery. Her paternal grandfather was William II De Braose and her paternal grandmother is Bertha De Pitres; her maternal grandparents were Bernard IV De St Valery and Eleanor De Domnart. She had two brothers and two sisters, named William IV The Younger De, John De, Matilda De and Leuca De. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 23 on November 19th, 1200 in Weobley, Herefordshire, England.General Notes
