Eleanor De was born about 1230 in Breconshire, Wales.  Eleanor De's father was William IV The Younger De Braose and her mother was Eve Marshall.  Her paternal grandparents were William III Th Baron De Braose and Maud Matilda De St Valery; her maternal grandparents were William The Protector Marshall and Isabel De Clare. She had two sisters named Eva and Maud De.  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died before 1246 in Of Llanthony Inn, Gloucestershire, England.

‌Eleanor De and Humphrey VI De were married in a religious ceremony in Brecknock, Breconshire, Wales.  They had a son and a daughter, named Humphrey VII De and Margery Margaret De.
