His paternal grandparents are Johannes Winkler and Margarethe Rebscher; his maternal grandparents are Jacob Winkler and Anna Johanna Herbel. He had a brother and seven sisters, named Peter, Catharina, Elisabetha, Margaret Rachel, Katharine, Elizabeth, Sophia and Rose. He was the second youngest of the nine children. Charles P. WINKLER
Funeral services were to be conducted today for Charles P. WINKLER, 64, of Wickliffe, O., who died Wednesday in Lake County memorial hospital at Painesville, O. A native of Portsmouth, Mr. WINKLER had lived in Wickliffe 20 years.
He retired as stationary engineer for the Cleveland Crane Co. late in July because of illness. His widow, Ottilie, adaughter and a son survive.
