Catharina Winkler 
Catharina was born on July 12th, 1858 in Mannheim-Sandhofen, , Baden, Germany.1 Catharina's father was Philip Winkler and her mother was Magdalena Winkler. Her paternal grandparents are Johannes Winkler and Margarethe Rebscher; her maternal grandparents are Jacob Winkler and Anna Johanna Herbel. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Peter, Charles, Elisabetha, Margaret Rachel, Katharine, Elizabeth, Sophia and Rose. She was the oldest of the nine children.
