Dixon Watkins

Dixon was born in 1852 in , , Kentucky, USA.¹ Dixon's father was Charles Watkins and his mother was Samantha Harper or Hopper. His paternal grandparents were James L. Watkins and Elizabeth Brunk. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Tapley, Nathan, Thompson, Alecy, Marilda and Emily. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
