Henry Clay was born on May 29th, 1892 in Clarkson, Grayson, Kentucky, USA.1 Henry Clay's father was Miles Hollis Skaggs and his mother was Mary Thomas Phillips. His paternal grandparents were Martin B. Skaggs and Mary E. Williams; his maternal grandparents were Owen W. Phillips and Elizabeth J. Williams. He had six brothers and four sisters, named George Lee, Albert Lee, Berthel B., Hilary C., William Burdette, Beckham, Ninnium Dallas Or Mirandalous, Ethel, Lula Jane and Angie B.. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 76 on February 2nd, 1969 in Clarkson, Grayson, Kentucky, USA.
