Frank J Schwamberger 82 of Wheelersburg died Saturday June 20, 1998 at
Southern Ohio Medical Center. Born on November 2, 1915 in Scioto County a
son of the late Ben Schwamberger & Mary Bihl Schwamberger he was a
graduate of Wheelersburg High School & a member of St. Peter's Catholic
Church. He worked at Wheelersburg Coal & Feed for many years & the for
Boll Farm Supply & retired from Nancy Rae's Super Market. Surviving are
his wife Dorothea Coe Schwamberger whom he married April 12, 1940 in
Wheelersburg; 3 sons Francis J Schwamberger Jr. of Circleville; William C
& Robert L Schwamberger both of Wheelersburg; 1 daughter Sue Nunley of
Portsmouth; 1 brother Albert Schwamberger of Wheelersburg; 4 sisters
Mildred Cook & Agnes Kline both of Wheelersburg; Beatrice Schwab of
Ironton & Marie Delabar of New Boston; 7 grandchildren & 2
great-grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by 2 sisters Christine
Delabar & Margaret Sherman; 1 brother Ben Schwamberger Jr. & 1 grandson.
Services will be held at 11 a. m. Tuesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church
in Wheelersburg with the Rev. Peter Gideon officiating & interment in St.
Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. & 6 to 9 p.m. Monday
at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg where a rosary service
will be held at 7 p.m. & wake service at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
