Marion Payton

Marion was born about 1879 in Stephensburg, Hardin, Kentucky, USA.¹ Marion's father was Gabriel M. Payton and his mother was Sarah Jordan Coleman. His paternal grandparents were Reuben PAYTON and Jemima Humphrey; his maternal grandparents are Jordan Coleman and Agatha Dewitt. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William Rueben, James, Charles, Maxie B., Elvira, Alice, Jemima, Aggie Or Agatha and Clara. He was the second youngest of the ten children.
