Straud was born on February 6th, 1898 in Millerstown, Grayson, Kentucky, USA.1 Straud's father was Thomas McClellen McBride and his mother was Bertha B. Skaggs. His paternal grandparents were William D. McBride and Catherine Elizabeth Clark; his maternal grandparents were Anderson Skaggs and Mary Fulkerson. He was an only child. He died at the age of 68 on April 21st, 1966 in Riverside, Riverside, California, USA.2 -
