His paternal grandparents were James Harvey MAYNARD and Sena Jane PERRY; his maternal grandparents were Absalom T. FINLEY and Malinda E. ADKINS. He had a brother and six sisters, named Jesse D., Rosalee, Rinda, Romaine, Katherine, Addie and Emma Jo. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died before July 2nd, 2004.2 General Notes
