Jane was born about 1829 in Madisonville, Hopkins, Kentucky, USA.1 Jane's father was Iredell Hart and her mother is Amelia Hart. Her paternal grandparents were Aaron Hart and Mary King. She had a brother and four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Henry, Eliza, Clarinda, Catharine, Amelia Emily and Conely. She was the third youngest of the seven children. Jane is no longer alive.-
