George Edward was born on August 10th, 1867 in Horntown, Grayson, Kentucky, USA.1 George Edward's father was John Joseph Hale and his mother was Martha E. Skaggs. His maternal grandparents were James L Skaggs and Nancy J Gragson. He had four brothers and a sister, named John Lindsey, William R., J. G., Oliver L. and Mary Liza. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 75 on May 17th, 1943 in Clarkson, Grayson, Kentucky, USA. He was buried on May 18th, 1943 in Little Clifty Cemetery in Clarkson, Grayson, Kentucky.2 3 -
