Lucretia Frances was born on August 10th, 1862 in , Grayson, Kentucky, USA.1 Lucretia Frances' father was Lewis W. Hackley and her mother was Margaret E. Wortham. Her paternal grandfather is Samuel Ball Hackley; her maternal grandparents were Charles E. Wortham and Nancy Ewing. She had five brothers and four sisters, named James W., Charles Samuel, John Thomas, Darius Clay, Joseph E., Nancy Catherine, Martha Jane, Mary Ann and Hannah Belle.
