Mrs. Clara BURLING
Funeral services for Mrs. Clara A. BURLING, 81 of 518 Sixth St., are to be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, of which she was a member, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. BURLING, a native of Portsmouth, died Friday at Mercy Hospital.
She was a member of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia and the Parish Council of Catholic Women.
Preceded in death by her husband, Bernard BURLING, in February, she is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Frances KLINKER of Waverly, Mrs. Ruth STERN, 520 Sixth St., Mrs. Bernadine PATRICK of Oak Ridge, Tenn., Mrs. Gevevieve O'CONNOR, 1708 12th St. and Mrs. Martha BAYLESS of Whiteland, Ind; two sisters, Mrs. Helena PETREY, 610 Fifth St., and Mrs. Mary WOODS of Mt. Orab; a brother, George FREDERICK of Sarasota, Fla.; 24 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Freinds may call at Melcher Funeral Home Sunday, where recitation of the rosary is to be held at 8 p.m.
