James Brant was born on February 6th, 1908 in Wheelersburg, Scioto, Ohio, USA.1 James Brant's father was Garfield Harrison CRAYCRAFT and his mother was Maude May BROWN. His paternal grandparents were Reuben CRAYCRAFT and Barbara Ann GREENSLATE; his maternal grandparents were John BROWN and Nancy. He had five brothers named Earl, Oscar, Clinas, Stanley and Harold.
