Blanche Bertha SCOTT, 94, of Portsmouth, died Thursday, May 6 1993, at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
Born Feb. 21, 1899, in Omega, a daughter of the late George Washington and Nancy Jane STROUD BLAIR, she was a life member of First Christian Church and a member of Order of Eastern Star of Portsmouth.
Preceded in death by her husband, John Edward SCOTT, in 1980, she is survived by a three sons, Jack Edward SCOTT and Ray Mike SCOTT, both of Portsmouth, and Roy Pat SCOTT of Wheelersburg; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Lois Jean) CAMPBELL of Portsmouth; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a son, James Vernon SCOTT, six brothers and eight sisters.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Daehler Funeral Home in Portsmouth, with the Rev. Nik DONGES officiating, and interment in Memorial Burial Park.
There will be no visitation.
The family's favorite charity is the First Christian Church Memorial Fund.
