Rohese was born about 1090.1 Rohese's father was Gilbert I FITZ RICHARD DE CLARE and her mother was Adeliza DE CLERMONT. Her paternal grandparents were Richard FITZ GILBERT DE CLARE and Rohese GIFFARD; her maternal grandparents were Hughes DE CLERMONT and Marguerite DE MONTDIDIER. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Richard Fitz Gilbert II, Gilbert II, Baldwin, Hervey, Richard, Walter, Alice and Margaret. She died in 1149.1 General Notes
