Elizabeth COURTENAY 
Elizabeth was born about 1526. Elizabeth's father was William COURTENAY and her mother was Mary GAINSFORD. Her paternal grandparents were William COURTENAY and Cecily CHENEY. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Philip, John, James, Thomas, Gertrude and Katherine. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She had five half-brothers named George, Henry, Peter, Anthony and Nicholas.-
